SUBJECT: I am opposed to S 560-- Card Check legislation
Dear Senator,
I would like to express my opposition to S 560, the Employee Free Choice Act. It has come to my attention that in the last session of Congress you supported this legislation. The issue is once again before the U.S. Senate but you have not yet stated how you plan to vote. I would like to know where you stand, and respectfully ask that you re-consider your previous position. The economic back bone of our state is made up of small to medium size businesses, many that are family owned, not the corporate giants who have been characterized by the news media on this issue. I hope that you will recognize the risk this legislation has on jobs and job creation at a time when Hoosiers are already suffering and struggling to pay the bills. Indiana can’t afford to lose more jobs. I encourage you to vote No on EFCA. Thank you.
